This mystery follows the extremes of a mother’s ferocious love for her children. Medea, derived from “mother dear,” also known as Gal, conveys wisdom to her progeny about love, caring, and the oppression that the Harris Family is subject to. Madea instilled the importance of neighborly behavior into her children with the promise that the spirit of love would always find its way back to them. This is a culmination of narratives of my family heritage which I wish to leave as a legacy. Both refreshing and heartbreaking, the stories of my grandmother, Isabella Lee Harris who paved the way for all her children to honor patience and kindness, hold a special place in my heart.
